Hi, my name is Dan Enselman (he/him).
I was born and raised in Western Washington, and I feel a connection to this area of the country. Growing up I experienced challenges in my adolescent years that led my parents to get me involved in therapy. Having a safe place where I felt heard allowed me to explore my emotions and what I wanted for my future. I decided at 13 years old I wanted to be a therapist. School led me out of Western Washington, first to Central Washington University, then across the county to East Carolina University in North Carolina. Being in another part of the country was an education in itself, but I knew eventually I wanted to come home.
When I returned I met my wife, Ana, and we moved from Seattle to Bellingham. We have been here since 2017 and now have two beautiful children. After years of working in community behavioral health, I decided to open my own practice with an office in the heart of downtown Bellingham. My work is motivated by a desire to provide that same sense of safety and support I experienced when I was 13 years old. I look forward to talking with you to see if I am the right person to support you on your journey.
